Last fall we saw a transformation of the asphalt outside of The Working Women’s Community Centre on Gladstone just south of Bloor Street West (Dufferin Grove Neighbourhood). There was a camera set up to document the transformation from neglected asphalt to urban oasis and community integrated outdoor space. I met the brains behind the initiative this morning while picking up a coffee at the Common on College. It turns out that the project was created by the producer of Green Force, a HGTV television show. It is great to see further improvement of the Dufferin Grove street scape and community.
