June 3, 2010 | Toronto Neighbourhoods

I’m so happy to see that there have been some positive changes in my neighbourhood of recent. Dufferin Grove has seen some really positive growth.

The Tim Hortons at Gladstone Ave and Bloor St was a big improvement from the Colour Your World that sat there before.

The Gladstone/Bloor Public Library looks incredible in it’s newly renovated and expanded state.
Ristorante Roma is under an energized new management group.

I was walking with my wife and pup the other day when we noticed that a new bar/restaurant is opening on Bloor just east of Havelock, the two young guys (one is named Matt, as I recall) seem to be pretty excited about their endeavour – they hope to open in mid-June.

Not to mention Calico, Piston and many other newer businesses popping up on the neighbourhood. I’m pretty excited to call it home!

(Oh, and the Adult Video store has closed down)
