Trolley Cres Condo In Toronto's Corktown

Corktown is a booming area of Toronto. Long-held as a blue-collar area of downtown Toronto with houses being the dominant residence. Things are changing, and quickly at that. There are condos in nearly every direction that you turn. For those who are unfamiliar with Corktown, it is situated just south of Regent Park (which is gentrifying as we have never seen before) and just north of the Gardiner Expressway.

What’s Great About Corktown?

Youthful enthusiasm and young families!

Corktown is booming with enthusiasm to be out and about in Toronto. There are strollers throughout the area — parents pushing with one hand while holding a coffee from coffee shops like OdinHaus.

Fitness

There are more local gyms that you can swing a cat at! Two of our favourites are: 1) Lift Corktown for those who love CrossFit! 2) Forme Fitness with the Smits brothers who have worked closely with Gary Roberts (no relation!) over the years – they train some of the finest young NHLs. Both gyms are tailored to group and private workouts, this is a great way to get into the Corktown community!

Outdoor Fun

Corktown Common and its dog-loving dog park are a great place to take the kids on a nice day to play. Your dog will be happy, too! A frequently overlooked gem is the Don Valley trail system that comes to a head here in Corktown. You can walk to the Brickworks and beyond, in fact, you can walk all the way to Lawrence Park and Lytton Park!

Food

As for food in Corktown, there are some great options for the culinary fan and the health-conscious. Impact Kitchen is 100% our go-to when in the area. Josh started this unique approach of great, healthy food in a relaxed environment. You will regularly see professional athletes stopping while playing in town as well as the who’s who of nationalists like Joy McCarthy of Joyous Health.

For those who enjoy middle eastern food, we suggest Souk Tabule! Its great and causal, like Corktown itself!

As more condo developments pop-up, we will see additional restaurants and bars opening to support the influx of people. There are some exciting times ahead for those living in Corktown. Add in the fact that the West Donlands and old Unilver Factory will be developed in the coming years, and you will NOT recognize the area! Corktown will be supporting a much larger community!

Corktown is one of the most up and coming Toronto neighbourhoods. A great neighbourhood to invest in! Are you curious to know more? Reach out to us here, and we are here to help!
