What's The Deal With 383 Sorauren?
One of Toronto’s newer loft offerings, this building was completed in 2016 and is a stunning addition to the Roncesvalles neighbourhood (tucked away on neighbouring Sorauren Avenue). This building has a heavy emphasis on brick, which helps it blend in with the charm of the area – without sticking out like a sore thumb.
There’s a decidedly modern touch about units in 383 Sorauren, where you can find finished walls, wood flooring, and no exposed ductwork. The brick is also only on the outside, as the units themselves feature polished concrete ceilings.
Overall, these units have a much more “finished” quality to them, which may dissuade those who are looking for more “traditional” loft living. Nonetheless, the units here are light-filled and super minimalist and clean in design. High ceilings, modern layouts, and floor-to-ceiling windows – you are also likely to have your own balcony to enjoy.
Sorauren Avenue is one of the best addresses in Roncesvalles Village. It’s quiet, quaint, and charming, while still being close to so many neighbourhood amenities. Head to Roncesvalles iconic strip, and grab a cup of coffee at Cherry Bomb, peruse the Polish delis, or simply take in the Village’s European vibes.
Another beautiful addition to this area is Souraren Park. Not only is this handy green space for you to enjoy, with a baseball diamond, dog park, and playground, but on Monday evenings you can head to the Sorauren Park Farmer’s Market. This local staple features fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as other wares from local artisans that is a can’t-miss feature of this neighbourhood.
383 Sorauren is a modern escape from the city, with a fitness centre, guest suites, and a rooftop deck for hosting friends and family. To be fair, there’s a lot more to keep you and your friends entertained at your doorstep.
