What Makes Lawrence Park So Great?

Lawrence Park is one of the most affluent and wealthiest areas in all of Toronto. Due in part to its history and its status, Lawrence Park real estate boasts beautiful homes, access to the city’s best schools, and a quiet small-town feel. All this considering its proximity to Mount Pleasant Road – which features convenient access to the city’s core.

It’s easy to see why so many of Toronto’s most famous residents call Lawrence Park real estate home, and even why it made it onto my list of places to live in Toronto. The area offers equal parts leisurely convenience, charming affluence, and – best of all – gorgeous homes.

Types of Homes

Lawrence Park real estate is full of large, beautiful homes built in many different styles. This includes English Cottage, Tudor Revival, and Colonial-style designs. It also isn’t uncommon to see some magnificent modern homes mixed in with the historic early-and-mid-1900s style architecture, as well.

That’s not all Lawrence Park has to offer! Check out some of these great homes for sale.

You Should See

A lot of Lawrence Park’s residents belong to The Granite Club, a private, invitation-only destination that’s known as one of Canada’s most prestigious athletic clubs. It’s also known for its collection of impressive neighbourhood schools, such as Crescent School and Havergal College. If you’re more in your element enjoying lush, green spaces, take a moment to visit the Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens and enjoy a moment of peace all to yourself.

Neighbourhood Hotspots

Besides The Granite Club, Lawrence Park real estate includes some well-known restaurants, including North 44 and venturing a bit further north, the French-inspired elegance of Auberge du Pommier. Spend some time perusing the shops around Yonge and Lawrence, and indulge in high-end fashion boutiques, children’s stores, sporting goods shops, and plenty of bakeries and cafes.

Getting Around

You could take the subway via nearby Lawrence Park station, but if driving is more your thing, you have direct access to the city’s core via both Yonge Street and Mount Pleasant Road. Thankfully, Lawrence Park real estate is known for offering private driveways and full-size garages, to store your car, your bike, or whatever you need to use to get around.
