I visited our city’s annual Interior Design Show yesterday. I cannot help but feel it is a commercialized product pitch. Almost everything was owned by big corporations (Audi had a new car there, what does that have to do with a house or office’s interior design?). However, there was a smaller area called the prototype section. There were some very good items by local talent. I really enjoyed the blown glass of TIMID co-owned by Sally McCubbin and Aaron Oussoren formerly of Sheridan’s glass program. They have some great work. Items that are unique, thought provoking and excellent for around the home.
