The best part of my day without a doubt, at least when it comes to my business…is connecting with people. New and interesting people, and particularly with past clients and friends. I make an effort to reach out to people everyday. To check in with their lives. Their business, etc.. I offer to help in anyway I can, in some cases I’m simply an ear or someone to bounce an idea off of.

Now that the market has slowed down, as it always does in the summer, I have extra time to meet up with past clients. It’s so much more fun and engaging with them in person versus over text, email and if I’m lucky enough the telephone.

I have had some wonderful conversations with people of recent. It completely fills me up with energy and insights – both on the personal life side and business.

Have you touched base with a friend lately or a past client?

It’s well worth it!. We are social beings who, I believe, we built to foster and enjoy community with others.  The other benefit was that I met with a past client yesterday who is considering selling their place after years of enjoyment. It feels great to help these people out. To guide, to advise and see their decision making process through, wether that leads to a deal or not. It feels great to help people come to the best outcome for themselves.
