Annex Toronto: Best Patios

Known as one of Toronto’s most beloved and unique downtown neighbourhoods, The Annex is an eclectic area with youthful vibrancy and a hip urban feel. Within the Annex Toronto neighbourhood, you’ll find everything, from urban sushi restaurants and wallet-friendly pizza joints, to second-hand bookstores and neighbourhood cafes.

Summertime and the living is easy! Especially when you can spend some time on a patio! The annex has some great patios! Here is our list of the Top 3 Toronto Annex Patios to enjoy this summer! We want to thank some close clients of ours in the Annex for their “local’s perspective”.

The Best Annex Patios:

Madison Ave Pub

An Annex institution for the better part of 40 years. Whether it’s UofT students, after-work socializers or those just looking to catch some rays while savouring a fine beverage, this is the place. Side note, if you get lost as you meander the many floors and sections of these Annex mansions, you are not the first! There is a maze of options to choose from here!

Crafty Coyote

Do you like craft beer? Crafty Coyote is the bar to visit in the Annex. Not only do they have a close relationship with Sawdust City and Left Field but Great Lakes is such a fan that they have made their own Crafty Coyote Lager.  Add in their patio and you have yourself a great evening or weekend afternoon this summer!

Madame Boeuf

Don’t let the website or the no-frills looking space fool you! Madame Boeuf, located just behind Fetzun has fantastic burgers and games. It’s worth stopping by! Also, both Madame Boeuf and Fetzun are just a teaser of what is to come as Dupont Street develops!
