Midtown Toronto comprises of several neighbourhoods stretching from St. Clair through to Lawrence Avenue and from Bathurst through to Bayview. Midtown has some of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Toronto. Excellent accessibility to downtown, restaurants and stores.

Midtown Toronto Neighbourhood Guide

Best Midtown Restaurant

Arguably Toronto’s finest restaurant is tucked into Forrest Hill, Scaramouche. The views of downtown are breathtaking. The foods is second to none. The price point isn’t for everyone, but this is a great treat from time to time. So, if you’re in the neighbourhood, we highly recommend dropping into Scaramouche and give it a try.

Best Midtown Clothing Store

The long-standing North Toronto institution, Sporting Life, hires many local high school students (read, all of my friends worked here and across the street at the Sign Of The Skier). The clothing selection is excellent, all of the top active wear brands as well as cottage and country lifestyle leisurewear you could want.

Best Midtown Park

Start at Yonge and Lawrence behind George Locke Library and walk through the flower park. You will link into miles of park system ranging through Sunnybrook Park, Brickworks, and finally along the river via the Don Valley Trail system to Lake Ontario. This is one of Toronto’s great park systems and worth checking out if you’re in Midtown.

Best Midtown Community Centre

North York Memorial Community Centre is an excellent place for workout and recreation in Midtown. The centre backs on to the park and North Toronto Arena. It’s a great place to spend the morning with the kids while you get in a workout.
