South Annex

South Annex Neighbourhood & Real Estate Guide:

If you have been following our blog over the years, you will have noticed that we love Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood. The sister neighbourhood to the Annex is the South Annex, and the houses are a little more quaint and charming when you cross sough of Bloor. The century-old charm and leafy trees make this area a wonderful spot to walk through, let alone live in!

Living in South Annex is as close as Toronto gets to Boston and Cambridge’s storied areas, which houses some of the finest universities in the US. These ivy league neighbourhoods are known for history, leaders and inspiration. A stone’s throw from the UofT Campus sits some of downtown Toronto’s inspired streets – Toronto’s ivy league neighbourhood equivalent. Victorians, small and large, line the streets. One way streets usher cars away from some of the best the South Annex offers, streets like Robert Street, Major Street and Willcocks Street. The tree lines sidewalks are perfect for a stroll no matter the season…although the Fall is a favourite of most residents.
