Best Toronto Condos

Toronto has some incredible condos. We have taken some time to write up our views of Toronto’s best condos based on some of our favourite neighbourhoods.

Annex Condos

Schoolhouse Lofts

Brunswick Avenue is fortunate to have two of the finest condo buildings in the Annex. This is a boutique loft conversion that offers an exclusive 19 units. Schoolhouse Lofts is one of those beautiful spots. This was the home to Loretto Abbey School for girls (now located in the North Toronto neighbourhood of The Cricket Club just off Yonge Boulevard). There are only 19 units in this building. It is sporadic to get a glimpse of these units as they are not often listed. Set in the Annex, the streetscape is captivating as The Schoolhouse Lofts, and Loretto Lofts are positioned side-by-side – two of our favourite Annex condo buildings!

Yorkville Condos

133 Hazelton Residences

Many years ago, Mizrahi had the vision to convert a contaminated piece of land at Hazelton and Dupont’s corner into an irresistible condo residence. Arguably the finest in Yorkville. Nothing short of luxurious features. In fact, this building is overbuilt in the sense of quality products and features. It’s truly a love letter to the Yorkville neighbourhood. The high ceilings and beautiful southern views remind any resident and visitor of the European designs that many pines for in Toronto.

The Hazelton

The Hazelton stands proudly at 118 Yorkville. This exquisite development is not only 19 private, sprawling residences but also a very high-end hotel (we’ve seen many tour buses parked out front with fans crowding the streets over the years!) Some of the most expensive condos in all of Toronto can be found at The Hazelton. In some cases, also the most opulent, Architectural Digest worthy interiors.

Roncesvalles Condos

383 Sorauren Lofts

When newcomer Gairlock branched off on their own to begin building esthetically beautiful condos in great neighbourhoods, they built 383 Sorauren beside the famed Robert Watson Lofts. Many Roncesvalles neighbours were concerned about how the building would fit into their quaint neighbourhood. How did it work out? Well, what can we say? 383 Sorauren Lofts landed on our best condo list. The units have part layouts, well-constructed spaces and a style that pushes other Toronto developers to do better.

Robert Watson Lofts

Robert Watson Lofts was one of the original loft conversion for Roncesvalles.  The original building sat dormant for years before the conversion. Frankly, Robert Watson put lofts on the map in Roncy. It gave the neighbourhood some street cred early on. Since then, obviously, Roncesvalles has become one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto!

Summerhill Condos

Thornwood I & II

The two Thornwood buildings are also known as Scrivener Square. A mainstay for exclusive, luxurious condos in Summerhill. Situated beside the beautifully converted LCBO train station. We have yet to have a client not love these condo buildings. There are a few tips to consider when buying, particularly a couple of floors to avoid. Other than that, these condo units are wonderful and incredibly convenient for getting around town (and out of town via Rosedale Valley Road!)

Corktown Condos

The Brewery Lofts

The Brewery Lofts is located at 90 Sumach, as the name suggests it’s origin. In later years, the CBC used the building for props and their archives. The famed building now has incredible living spaces boasting 14-foot ceilings and, for the lucky few, private rooftop terraces (don’t worry, there is a common rooftop space as well!) The back entrance offers up access to the original commercial elevator – there aren’t many of these left in Toronto’s downtown buildings. It’s a pretty cool experience to take this up to your condo (and it certainly makes moving your furniture in and out a breeze!
